How do you die from Leukemia?
You hear about people dieing from cancer all the time, but you never find out exactly how it really happens. In the finally day, what happens? Is it just a constant weakness that finally puts your body to sleep? Specifically i am curious about Leukemia.

I think your white blood cells start attacking the red blood cells and everything else and that wears your body's immune system down.

Usually from Leukemia you die of an infection. Because it affects your white blood cells you are no longer able to fight infections and so you could die from a simple virus that in any other person wouldn't be that bad. That is why patients with leukemia have to make sure they don't get sick - which is often why they cannot go to school as it is to much of a place for spreading germs. All types of cancer have different endings- sometimes your body just decides its had enough and can't work any more, or sometimes the person gives up hope and then mind over matter takes over and they could just die in their sleep.
