If a child develops leukemia, would they still go to school normally, like they did before?
....Because of their weak immune system, and all the germs schools carry. I know there are different kinds, but what would be the case in acute and chronic?

It would be safest for the person to stay in a less-germy environment due to their compromised immune system and the chances of acquiring a serious secondary infection while undergoing treatment. BUT, once they are done with treatments, they could certainly return to school as normal.

probably not a good idea I am immune suppressed and am not able to go to school I was told not to because I get so sick so easy I have been septic 4 times in one year ( My blood counts have been low, Im extremelyanemicic and may have leukemia)

I had acute leukemia and even though i had graduated high school by the time i got it i knew of people with leukemia who were still in school and they would most of the time do home school and if they were on a break from chemo and their blood counts went back up they would attend a few classes a month but only when the doctor said their blood counts were stable. i wouldnt risk it.
