He is fifteen but I'm afraid to ask him much about it, because he isn't a close friend, but I was wondering how long you thought he might live. Expert / educated opinion only please.

Personal experience. One friend received chemo and is fine now and it's been over 10 years. One friend died 2 years after diagnosis despite chemo.
