Rock and Pop: Are any musicians doing anything for the BP Gulf Oil Disaster?
I remember after the hurricanes several musicians were making noise about the plight, but so far I haven't heard much, except for a concert in N.O. that did not get much coverage, and Sophie B Hawkins did some songs for a waters charity, but some expected names have not made any noise. Did you know that benzene exposure contributes to new leukemia in about 5 to 7 percent of the exposed population? There are lots of people between New Orleans and Pensacola, and the oil is projected by NOAA to make it up to North Carolina. Not really a rant, just curious if any artists are sounding klaxons.
