What is the disease leukemia?
Does anybody know what organs leukemia affects and how it affects the bodies homeostasis?
Homeostasis=to maintain a stable environment

it effects the blood cells. i think the white blood cells. i am not 100 percent sure though but it has to do with blood cells

My cousin had it for 2 years, she did survive, but just like any cancer you lose all your hair and you have a shortage of white blood cells.

leukaemia is cancer of the blood so mainly affects the bone marrow but can also affect other organs in the body due to the persons inability to fight of infections or viruses.
Leukaemia is when the bone marrow produces too many white cells but lets them out into the body before they are mature so they don't know how to do there job.
