What is the precentage of APL Leukemia returning for a woman after two year remission?
APL is a sub-type of Acute Leukemia, about two years into remission, treated with Chemo and various maintenance therapy

Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia, right? I don't have figures, but I've got personal experience.
In the case of a family member, the leukemia went into remission on the first round of chemo, but was followed by two more rounds just in case. All blood and other testing saw no sign of return, starting at the first follow-up visits after chemo was completed.
At two years, the doctors said we could breathe easier, that staying "clean" this long was a good sign, since the more aggressive APL types tend to recur faster than that.
At five years, they said the likelihood of recurrence was small. They never, ever use the word "cure."
At ten years, they finally gave statistics. The chances of recurrence were now lower than the chances of a member of the general public getting it. They would continue doing bloodwork for our peace of mind, if we wanted, but it really wasn't necessary.
Hang in there, stay healthy, and know that there are people all over the place who've beaten this, for good. Hope you join the ranks of those who remain in remission for the rest of their lives!
