can a cat with leukemia live with other cats if they have been vaccinated?
I am having my other cats vaccinated and are keeping them separated for a month, can they then live together in the same household

Yup. I had two cats one with leukemia and one without. The one with only lived for four years. :( But the other lived a full healthy life.

I have 9 indoor cats, ages 8 years to 8 months. 2 cats have FIV. The others have been vaccinated and seem to be in no danger of contracting FIV, according to my vet. I have separate food and water containers for the FIV cats, the other cats try and sneak their food and water. They sleep together and play together.
One of my cats had Leukemia when she was preg with her litter. I found her and her litter, or the 3 that survived, since I don't know how many she had, behind a house and almost at the point of death. 2 of her litter have passed on, she and her son are doing great, healthy and living life as if they were not ill.
I keep my cats up to date with their annual shots. The ones with FIV don't need to be vaccinated, as one member suggested, as they already have the disease.
