does it sound like this cat has leukaemia?
She is tired and spending most of her time on a rug, getting up only to go to the loo. Still eating, but the whites of her eyes are very white, and she is sneezing a lot. Had injection from vet, seemed to do the trick, but they still want to do more tests.
One of the possibilities was leukaemia. What do you think?

no one will no by u juss telling us u need to tak action juss to see if she has it and if she has its good that uve got on it nearly straight away! but still get a test this might help but ... no1 will know!

im sorry your cat isn't well. i have got some signs of feline leukaemia that you can compare to your cat.
-anorexia
-apathy
-weight loss
-pale or yellow mucous membranes which is the colour of the inside of the gums.
-vomiting
-diarrhoea
-reproductive problems
the only way for them to determine this is by doing a ELISA test

Who knows... ask the vet for a snap test... you'll have the results for FeLV in 1/2 to 1 hour. I have to have mine all tested within the next few weeks as they may have been exposed to a host virus. If she had leukemia, there are a few different strains of it. Sneezing is generally not a side effect from FeLV... you kitty may just have a bad case of URI... upper respetory infection. That will make her very lethargic and sick. Best of luck....
