How do i bring up bad news without looking like i want attention?
My dad has Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a kind of cancer similar to leukemia. I've never told any of my friends, but i see what my dad goes through and it really bothers me sometimes. I wish i could talk to my friends about this but i don't know how to bring it up. People don't just start randomly talking about cancer you know? I'm not seeking attention, i just want a little of the weight to be taken off my shoulders. How can i do this?

If you feel like you can't confide in your friends, then perhaps you can go to the school counselor or a councslor outside of school. If you have good friends, there should be nothing wrong with telling them. You need someone to talk to.

My aunts got Leukemia and shes doing GREAT!
The survivor rate is really high.
And if its about your dad HAVING cancer then of course your not bragging. people will think you want Comfort.
And when people talk to you just flow with the conversation.
