Is my mom going to live?

Is my mom going to live?
On exactly January 6, 2010 when my 38 year old mother was diagnosed with acute Myelocytic Leukemia. Her first few symptoms of this blood cancer was a case of really bad strep throat. She had a white blood cell count of 327,000 with only have a 10% chance of living at the time. So far she is doing really well. But I am still not convinced that she will be okay. I have been wondering and worrying for the past 7 months. If someone who knows about this could please reassure me and my family all around who are just watching and worrying to see how she will turn out. If someone could also be kind enough to possible give a website to a forum for other women of her age going through the same thing.

Please help us. Thank you

With current standard chemotherapy regimens, approximately 30-35% of adults younger than 60 years survive longer than 5 years and are considered cured.

I wish your mother the best for a good prognosis.
