What are my chances of developing cancer?
My mom died at age 37 of gastric cancer. She was the first in the family to have cancer yet three of her sisters have had stomach issues such as gastritis and ulcers.
My dad was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) at age 47, and has had many complications.
I want to know if these cancers are hereditary, and what are my chances of developing cancer?

I'm so sorry to hear this. It sounds like it could just be bad luck as with hereditary they would have to be the same. You sound more like you could get the stomach things.. Sorry! The stomach problems sound hereditary! But your dad might've just got unlucky (Like most cancers, unlucky could be used to describe how someone got it) Try not to stress too much. If your mom and sisters have a consistency of gastric problems at a certain age, start checking with your doctor (If they find it to sound hereditary) to get checks.
So sorry to hear this! Cancer is terrible. I've never had to deal with a family member affected by it.
