What does the term "de novo" mean in relation to a cancer diagnosis?
Reading papers about acute myeloid leukemia and trying to figure out what de novo is referring to. Any help is appreciated :)
De novo means anew.
Since your not stating how it is being used you are making it as hard as possible to answer you. However I'm guessing they are referring to a genetic mutation that neither parent possessed. Ask the doctor.
