Leukemia is a cancer, albeit a blood cancer. Anemia is a deficiency of iron in the blood.

First off, please don't answer a question if you don't know what you are talking about. Anemia is a decrease in hemoglobin or erythrocytes (blood cells). Leukemia, is a malignant disease of the hematopoietic stem cells (blood)
Yes, I realize that there are different types. But it is incorrect to come off saying that is the definition of anemia.

I went to the web and found that anemia seems to have many forms including iron deficiency anemia.
Just thought it was worth mentioning.

There are also different types of anemia...sickel cell anemia, aplastic anemia... too many to name here. Depending on the "type" of anemis depends upon the treatment.
And of course there are many types of Leukemia: AML, ALL, CML and more, and within those groups are other factors to consider...(ie b-cell, t-cell, etc)
