would blood test detect leukemia?

would blood test detect leukemia?
i got a check up 3-4 weeks ago and they took my blood. yesterday i noticed a part of my skin in my finger peeled off a little but it didnt bleed because it wasn't deep enough. today i was looking into my bookbag when something scraped my finger and it started bleeding a lot (well, more than it usually would, like drops of blood.) i been looking at the symptoms online and im pretty scared... would the doctor detect leukemia if i had it? would he maybe think i have an infection instead? would he let me know? please help!!!

A CBC (complete blood count) could indicate possible problems. It would show leukocytes and an abnormal white cell count if there was a problem I'm sure the doctor would be aware and have told you by now. (The cbc doesn't take long to evaluate)

If your parents haven't heard anything in 3-4 weeks, there is nothing serious on your blood tests. And yes, they can get an idea as to whether leukemia is present from a complete blood count (CBC) so, there is no reason to worry at this time. Otherwise, you would have already been having additional testing going on so, your blood test was probably normal. As for your injuries, these would all be normal occurrences.
