Can "Acute Care Clinics" have (medical) residents?

Can "Acute Care Clinics" have (medical) residents?
Is there a blood test to diagnose leukemia? Would you have the blood test results fast enough giving the blood at an "Acute Care Clinic" then get the results back a few hours later?
Finally, if you got the results back would you tell the patient's mother (patients 3 yr old) to come back to you "Acute Care Facility" just to give the bad news and tell her to get straight away to the hospital?

If someone was diagnosed in April 2007, with Biphenotypic Acute Leukemia. ALL & AML is it possible that now 4 months later to be in remission?

I'm trying to figure out if a family member, who's trying to borrow money (again) is telling the truth....

I have the money. I have no medical background, but I feel like I'm being lied to... I want to give the money... but something just "feels wrong" with her story...

Medical residents do staff Acute Care Clinics. There has to be an attending physician on staff supervising them.

Leukemia is a disease of the blood, so it is detected through blood tests.

If the child came to the clinic looking really bad, it is reasonable to expect that the doctor would have ordered the lab tests to be run quickly, and could indeed have gotten them back within a few hours.

If the doctor got back labs suggesting leukemia, he would indeed want to get the child in the hospital quickly for more testing and treatment.

If someone had three different leukemias at the same time, it would be miraculous to see a remission within four months. In particular, biphenotypic acute leukemia often requires a bone transplant before any stabilization is seen.
Someone having all three would surely look seriously ill.
