God cannot be blamed for men's mistake. How about children born handicapped or disabled? Punish the parents?
for they have sinned? punish them and give them a handicapped child, such one with Down's Syndrome or one without arms or legs? or one with leukemia.
The parents are to be blamed for their children's suffering. Not God of course, God cannot be blamed.
Lola -
good to hear your amazing story. Do you consider that a "miracle"?
Do you thank God for getting back your vision?
What about the people lost their vision? Do they thank God for what he's intended for them? Since they cannot blame God for it.

no we all do our own sinning..

How about getting on with life and making the best of what you have, instead of looking for a scapegoat?
EDIT:
1) No, it isn't a miracle.
2) Yes, I thank God for my vision. He made the medical science for human beings to discover, they're discovering it, I got my surgeries, I have vision, and I thank Him for all of it. He uses a physicians hands to heal. Do I thank the physicians? Not personally, but I do thank God for them.
3) You'll have to ask someone who's lost vision, I can't answer for them. I've known lots of people who have lost vision, and they adapt. They strive. I know one who got a Masters Degree after she lost 100% of her vision. I will tell you what will
Btw, when I say that I don't thank the physicians personally, it's because I got my vision when I was little, so I'm
EDIT AGAIN:
Being born less than 100% perfect is a punishment? Since when??? You have no idea how much people can gain from being born less than 100% perfect. I've gained ENORMOUS patience, understanding, compassion and perservearance. Yes, I thank God for my impairments! Having to endure what I've endured has made me into the FANTASTIC person that I am! Warts and all!

For some reason, people are under the impression that God promised that the world would be perfect; no pain, suffering, etc. He did not promise this world to be this way, so we shouldn't expect everything to be the way we feel it should be. This is not heaven; this is earth, a sinful earth with pain, diseases, innocent deaths, handicaps, etc...it is unfortunate but true.
