Can you get get pregnant while in remission of leukemia?
My sister is 18 years and was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Would she be able to have children while in remission?

Yes. She could always get pregnant (even with the cancer). As long as she's not weak, on medications or in chemotherapy then she and her child will be fine.

I thought that when you undergo chemo you become sterile, unless they give you lower doses to try to protect you from being sterile. Did she have a talk about this with her doctor?
