Can you have leukemia without having the typical bleeding and bruising that usually accompanies it?
Or does that automatically rule out leukemia as the problem if nose/rectum bleeds do not occur, but all the other common leukemia symptoms are present?

Leukemia may be present without the sign you have mentioned. Nasal bleeding or rectal bleeding may be absent.

- Quiet one
Yes; let's say it is a very initial case of beginning lieukemia and for some reason or other the patient cannot bear to eat, and accidentally or on purpose a relative, friend, nurse or helper puts patient on a diet of fresh raw vegetable juices and perhaps certain powerful herbs which are all patient can manage to keep down, but which, banish the problem, whether the "cook" intends it or not, and patient surmounts that and other symptoms. Let's say patient sticks to a diet he has found he can keep down and he gets better before he finds out how sick he was.

- Chronic Hiver
My brother has had leukemia for approx. 14-15 years, and he has yet to experience the "typical" bleeding and bruising. It depends on what type of leukemia. His main symptom has always been tiring very easily, and that's it.

With cancer anything is possible. It can hide things and they not pop up until later. If you think you have anything get checked to see how many white blood cells you have in your body.

YES, YOU CAN, MY SON GOT LEUKEMIA AND HE NEVER GOT BLEEDING OR BRUISING, JUST A PAIN ON HIS LEGS AT NIGHTS, AFTER A WHILE HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA.
