is minor bruising a sign of leukemia?
Sometimes I wake up with small purple or red spots on my face, and bruises on my neck. The bruises are usually light purple and not really big, and they never hurt. This has been happening like every two weeks for the past six months or so. Or when you have leukemia is the bruising severe and on more body parts than the face and neck?

Are you a hypochondriac?
I get/wake up with bruises all the time. It means I need more vitamins.

Tons of things can cause bruises. Trauma (hitting your arm or leg or whatever) is most common. It can also be caused by low blood platelets or clotting factor. The medical term for bruises is "ecchymoses." Look it up on Medline.com or something and it will give you plenty of causes. Don't jump straight to leukemia! If you get them all over and a lot at one time for no apparent reason, then maybe go see a doctor. Everyone gets bruises, calm down!
