Leukemia tests?
I was told when I was little that I had to go to the hospital because I ate hair, and I remember the anethesia, actually, butnothing more than that. A while back, however, my mom finally told me it was because the doctors thought I had leukemia, which they concluded, I did not. My mom says they checked my stomach(and when she said the whole 'hair story' that they had to put a tube into my stomach), why would they do that if checking for leukemia?

Who knows, maybe something abnormal came up in some test and if they put a tube down your stomach they were obviously looking at the lining of your stomach or esophagus. Did you have stomach problems? What precipitated the visit to the doctors that started this all? You should really be asking your mother all these questions.
Bloodwork would reveal abnormal results if you had leukemia I would think.

i have leukemia (AML) and they didnt check my stomach. for leukemia they test your blood and your bone marrow. they get a big needle and take out a piece of your bone marrow, they dont do anything with your stomach, but hey it was a while ago so maybe they did that a few years ago but i dont think so...maybe your mom was lieing to you because they never tested my stomach.
