wbc count in hodgkins,non hodgkins, leukemia?
i know with these cancers wbc are elevated but how elevated like 16,000 or way higher are they always elevated???

my daughter has hodgkins and her wbc before, during and shortly after her first chemo session were 20.75, 1.92 and then 2.7 . I don't know what it's out of though. We're in Europe, so it would be metric, don't know if your numbers are.

The WBC count can be very low, normal or high in any of these disease. As usual, the answer depends.... like on whether bone marrow/spleen is/are involved, extent of disease elsewhere, other blood-borne chemical factors related to the cancer that affect the blood cells, etc.
