Radiation therapy for leukemia? Leukemia is a systemic cancer. Where would they aim the radiation beam unless it is concentrated (like AML in the brain or testicles)?
Chemotherapy is the primary treatment for leukemia. You must mean lymphomas where radiation therapy is used. FYI, chronic lymphoblastic leukemia (CLL) can transform into Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL).
For the poster "Biological Dental", STI571/Gleevec/Glivec/Inmatinib is only effective against Ph+ leukemias (most CML and some ALL).

just take the leukemia pill STI571. it is the same one that ryan o'neil took a while back and got cured. it was invented in oregon quite a few years ago and has been on tv and has an extremely high cure rate.

There is a leukemia website that will answer any questions .I had hairy cell leukemia and did cd2 chemo treatment in the hospital for 7 days.I am now in remission 15 months cancer free Good luck and check out the web site on yahoo.
