I have many symptoms of leukemia, but they can be symptoms of other things, or just random happenings and i'm completly over reacting. I have had blood taken within the past 2 months and was wondering if it would be detected with a regular blood test because Leukemia is cancer in your blood, or is it something that the doctor has to be looking for to catch it?
Symptoms are (my symptoms that relate to leukemia):
Fatigue
Bruising VERY Easily
Weakness
Shortness of Breath (comes easily ie. walking up the stairs)
Black out Easily

could you list your symptoms for us?
It all depends how obervant the doctor is being, they would probably catch it.

One thing to know about a Leukemia test is that it often gives a fake positive. Take the test several times and try more than one kind of test.

Diagnosis
Once the physician suspects that a patient's blood is abnormal, he or she will want to perform blood and bone marrow tests to rule out leukemia. Additional tissue samples may be needed to confirm the diagnosis or to help plan treatment.

Blood Tests
In cases of questionable leukemia, a number of blood tests are performed. Such tests evaluate the type and quantity of blood cells that are present, the blood chemistry, and other factors.

They sure will. The white blood cell count will give them a good indication if there is something wrong and any doctor with 2 brain cells with check for it. Good luck hope everything turns out alright
