Why do theists of Abrahamic religions claim that diseases like AIDS and leukemia are caused by mankind's sins?
How do sins transform into HIV-AIDS or Leukemia? What about those innocent children who get afflicted with these diseases? They didn't commit sins.

Everyone is born a sinner. Haven't you heard that being stated time and again? Therefore, there are no innocent children.

Some do believe the source is from sin, but many theists probably would not agree. It is not the individual sin, but the original sin which affected all of creation that they are most likely referring, which is a Christian doctrine.
