Today the survival rate is up to 50%. The best treatment is usually a marrow transplant from a matching family member.
Just type "Acute lymphoblastic leukemia" in the Google search field and you'll see lots of information.

My husband had aml leukemia 8 years ago at age 18. I don't really know about the leukemia you are talking about. The Lord cured him. If you turn to God nothing is impossible. I will be praying for you all! May God bless her.

From my experience, 100% survival rate with the http://www.hacres.com diet. If you go natural, I would advise seeing a competent ND because you're going to need supplements (cancer's a disease of malnutrition) and be prepared for lots of organic coffee enemas. They cause your liver to release lots of antioxidants. The goal is to restore optimal health through nutrition not try to cure the disease. Restore your health and disease goes away. I also may not agree with everything Dr. Lorraine Day says, but her 10 principles of diet, sleep (10 - 2 the best), sunshine, stress reduction, spiritual/prayer, and others are sound. Please educate yourself at sites like http://www.newstarget.com, http://www.cancertutor.com, and http://www.pcrm.org.

ALL is a rare form of cancer for adults. The prognosis for ALL over the last few years has improved with the worst progranosis being for the Ph+ or the Philadelphia Chromosome positive cases.

From all the research and especially the ones coming out of M D Anderson done by Hagop Kantarjian, Deborah thomas et al; the survival rate (usually for a 5 year time span) has improved to 55% even with the Ph+ diagnosis. However, the risks after a BMT usually remains i.e. a third chance of mortality within 100 days, a third mortality within 5 years and a long term survival of a third.

The usual recommendation is to do a BMT if there is a related match. In this case, if the BMT is done at first remission, then survival rates are higher than otherwise.
