How do you know if your cat/kitten has leukemia?

My daughter in law has a cat & had to have blood work done to determine if he had lukemia or not.

You should get blood work done asap. Feline leukemia is called FeLv. Make sure to get him/her tested as it is contagious to other cats and can limit her lifespan. That being said, the cat can live a very normal life with the disease, you will just need to be aware and make sure to keep him/her away from other kitties, and the vet will possibly prescribe meds. There will most likely be no signs other than getting blood work done. best of luck and even if he/she has it, give it lots of love!!!
