How much should I expect to pay for a cab from Boston's North Station to Dana Farber Cancer Institute?

It all depends on which way your cab driver chooses to go to get there. It also depends on if there is traffic or detours.

I would call the cab companies up and ask them their rates then that way you may be able to get a better answer.

It would cost in the neighborhood of $ 20 or so, plus tip.

As I mentioned yesterday, the Green Line D and E trains leave from North Station about every 5 minutes and can get you within walking distance of Dana Farber.

If walking is an issue, I recommend that you take the "inbound" Heath Street "E" train to the Prudential Center Stop. Take the elevator or escalator up to Huntington Avenue. There is a cab stand right there, in front of the The Colonnade Hotel. Take a cab from there, not North Station. It will be $ 5.00 or so.
