My son has high white blood cell count, iron deficiency anaemia and frequent nose bleeds?
We took our 4yo son to Dr, due to frequent nose bleeds at night (occurring most nights- fair quantity of blood). He is also lethargic.
Dr ordered blood tests, CBP, CRP, E/LFTS, Iron Studies.
Today Dr advised he has high white blood cell count and low iron levels.
Dr has now ordered Urine tests - does anyone know what Dr could be looking at or testing for with Urine test???
There is a strong family Coeliac Disease presence, but everything I google tends to indicate leukemia. What else could it be?

WAIT--stop trying to be the doctor--you will have to allow the doctor to evaluate and treat your son. It can be the food ingredients--it can be anything--he could be allergic to certain foods---why are you asking US about such a serious issue?? YOUR DOCTOR WILL HELP YOU AND YOUR SON. RELAX--he will be fine. The testing takes a while--simply because of all the possibiliteis he has to deal with. My very best to you.-and your son.
