i need help, my friend has leukemia and is only fifteen; im insanely worried about him and im wondering.. :(?
a few weeks ago a close friend of mine got diagnosed with an acute form or Leukemia; he's only fifteen and im wondering how long do you think he will be here for :(
he's had a bad life and is diagnosed with Schizophrenia and depression. he was a drug addict and i don't know if he still is or not but im just wondering if this will affect it at all?

hey scot a co-worker of mine had a son who battled leukemia and he battled it for 7 years and just passed away last tuesday and he was 35 years old. sorry to hear about that but it can be cured if it is treated right. one of my friends had it and he is doing great and has had it a very long time. good luck!

acute lymphatic leukemia has HIGH success rate.
he should go through 3 yr of chemo..
[will be rough with hair loss, infections, nausea, hospitalizations but his over all cure rate should be high]
his depression & schizophrenia willn't affect his out come..
i don't know about drugs..
might counter act with chemo.. idk ? he needs STOP the drugs & talk to his oncologist about that
