or any type of cancer in that matter? for example lymphoma?

The identical chances you had six months ago . . cancer is a progressive disease . .it is entirely possible that six months ago everything was normal . . and today you have cancer. Every day is a new day as far as cancer is concerned. Six months ago the cancer may not have been extensive enough to be detected . . but now it is because it has progressed enough to be found. Cancer is deceptive.
